Many men ask me, “how you get that title without a man”🤣,,, welp, I saw my ex-husband for the 1st time in 14 yrs, while with my son.🤔 He knew then that God would answer his promises over my life; for me to be a Mom as my full-time job even after our divorce. 🙌🏾 (courtroom moments) I told him at 20, I’ll be retired by 30. (overachiever life 😭)

… and yet everyday I sacrifice opportunities (even after the baby stage is over) because I know 1st hand how much 2 hrs of after school care, if spent with a parent, can change a child’s life. I know 1st hand, that it matters if you can come pick your child up from school, with a grateful spirit, when they are sick. I know that a child learns consistency, when you have the ability to show up for EVERYTHING at school. I overall, refuse to give up my energy that’s for my kid, in exchange for more money.

I know not every woman desire to be stay at home mom, especially without a husband who can give them the attention and support that’s needed … but I’m proud that God will answer your prayers if you lean on the side of breaking societal norms.

For the next generation, I pray for the upcoming Independent?? women who are still maternal. I pray they can find a way to choose legacy over everything. It’s different, but oh what a purposeful and fulfilling life it is! Remembering God can do ANYTHING‼️🥰
